Chelsea’s ‘Worst’ Shirt – or As You Yanks Would Say the ‘Worst Uniform’!

Our beloved leader (Bob) posted a topic the other day about the worst EVER footballing shirts. Chelsea’s new Electric Yellow was in there somewhere which is a bit unfair cos the shirt has only been available only recently. Personally I love the shirt I wear mine all the time (till its time for it to get washed) and then I move along to another Chelsea shirt. Its all about Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea!!!!

KTBFFH!!!

I do have loads of shirts from the past, lots of shirts that I use as an excuse to wear at work as being from the retro period of my Chelsea love affair and we are talking since 1966.

However if I have to choose which is my favourite ‘worst’ shirt in my time as a Chelsea fan, it has to be the one pictured. Tangerine and Graphite Grey – or is it – Graphite Grey and Tangerine????

As they say in Big Brother - you decide???

  That shirt is 20 ways of ugly. I shudder at the Coors sponsorship.

  Bob, Man Utd played in a similar grey shirt once at Southampton and lost 6-3 and they changed their shirts at half-time – as for the sponsors it wasn’t Coors!!!

  That’s ugly, no way around it, but at least I can’t find Chelsea fans wearing it on Google Maps, like I can with the new yellow one. It’s too damned bright. But both are pretty ug. Nothing gets near that suede thing from Bob’s post, though.

  There is another yellow diamond shirt and there is a red and white diamond as well. You gotta bear in mind in the 70s Chelsea shirts were either Blue for home or yellow away so transition over the years is gonna put people off.

  But remember the yellow shirt is based on Barca’s away shirt from last season and no-one complained about that one!!!
