Reading 1-2 Chelsea ‘We Want Our Title Back…..’

How much more good news do you want in a space of a few days? Firstly Man Utd drop points at home to Reading (and from a club point of view and NOT England), Rooney gets injured. Chelsea win their first game.

Next up, Man Utd drop ANOTHER two points at Portsmouth AND ‘The Winker,’ Ronaldo gets himself sent off to boot. So for the next few games at least, Man Utd are without their front line talismen, Rooney and Ronaldo. Then news breaks that Scumpool’s (sorry must stop saying that - Liverpool I mean), Gerrard has a busted toe but it seems he is going to play on for Liverpool on Sunday against us, but not against Germany in a friendly next Wednesday - one begs the question what would the decision have been if England’s game against Germany was NOT a friendly?

Then for the 2nd game in a row Chelsea came back from a goal down to win, beating Reading 2-1 (after beating Birmingham 3-2) with goals from Frank and Dids in a storming five minute period at the start of the second half when Chelsea was 1-0 down.

After the game Jose announces that Captain Marvel who is our own John Terry is fit and available for selection for the game against Scumpool, oh Liverpool after going through a rigorous training session on Wednesday.

Lastly our own Jose announces that he is really ‘The Special One,’ after making brave decisions at half-time when Chelsea was 1-0 down. Already lost of the services of Carvalho who limped off before half-time, Jose changed it around by replacing Ferreira and Sidwell with Mikel and Pizarro and moving Shaunie to full back.

Within five minutes of the start of the second-half, Chelsea were 2-1 up. Once Reading’s debutant Cisse was sent off after a second bookable offence, there was no way back for Reading.

Really good start from Chelsea. It’ll be important down the line to take all points from these early ones, especially if Man U continues to struggle without Rooney and Ronaldo. Petr Cech has been a little disappointing from the standpoint of my fantasy football team, but other than that, no complaints. Keep it up.

Chelsea will be licking their wounds after a good thrashing at Anfield this weekend. “Scumpool” as you so eloquently put it, will wipe the pitch with poor little Dids and Terry.
