Yes, the Beckham hype at the game was disgusting. Maybe he can bring some interest in the real game of football to America but as an American fan of the game I was embarrassed at all the focus on one man and his wife, their Hollywood friends and the after game parties that were taking place. The commentators couldn't even get the names of Chelsea players right half the time. It will be good to see the boys get home and play for fans worthy of their attentions. I really felt a lot of sympathy for the rest of the LA Galaxy team as well. Well, Andy, at least I know you are alive and well enough to write so I can stop worrying myself sick over that.
