The real enemy in the Robinho saga

By: Jack | Comments 17 Comments

Most Chelsea fans, including myself, has been quick to label Manchester City’s newest darling, Robinho, greedy. Or heartless. Or a greedy, heartless mercenary.

After allowing the blow of losing out on the Brazilian — to City no less — to expunge from my memory, I’m now beginning to believe the real enemy in this whole ordeal [...]

Big Phil kicks SWP to curb

By: Jack | Comments 3 Comments

Shaun Wright-Phillips’ days of running deliriously around Stamford Bridge have finally come to end. Hallelujah!

SWP completed a £9 million move to the club he left for Chelsea, Manchester City, this week. According to the Gurdian, his father, Ian Wright, said it was the first time his son had smiled in ages.
Well, don’t blame Chelsea pal. [...]

Transfer news: Who the hell is Fabio Paim?

By: Jack | Comments 2 Comments

He’s the next Ronaldinho (without all the weight).
He also bears a strong resemblance to Jar Jar Binks. But I digress.
Paim’s a winger. A flashy one. He’s got “bags of pace,” and “uncanny” ball control. All this and he can’t even break into his own club’s first team? Sounds fishy.
It’s apparently not fishy to Uncle Phil, [...]

Lamps’ new contract will take him to age 35.
“I want to finish my career at Chelsea,” Lampard said. It is something I’ve said many times and [...]

The bid is in …

By: Jack | Comments 3 Comments

“Further to media reports, Chelsea Football Club can confirm we have made an offer to Real Madrid today (Thursday, August 7) for the transfer of Robinho.”
Says a statement on the official Chelsea FC website. Short and sweet, eh? This ordeal, however, is certain to be anything but.
So we finally lodged a bid for the pint-sized Brazilian [...]

Maks to depart: Say It Ain’t So

By: Jack | Comments 2 Comments

“I think Claude has this kind of gift - he’s been the best player in the team for years but people just don’t notice him, don’t notice what he does. But you ask anyone at Real Madrid during the years we were talking about and they will tell you he was the best player at [...]

Official: Deco in the hizzouse

By: Jack | Comments 11 Comments

Uncle Phil has jump started his Chelsea revolution with a shock signing — Deco. I know, you can’t believe it either.
The former Barcelona midfielder inked a two-year contract with the Blues on an £8 million deal (bargain I say), according to the Guardian. Deco, 30, will no doubt bring a touch of class to the [...]
