Did JT spit on Tevez?
By: Jack | May 21st, 2008Searching for ways to cope with my depressed state, I’ve spent much of my time since the final whistle combing the net reading various reports from yesterday’s/today’s debacle. Of interest, is the few pieces/comments I’ve seen about the melee leading up to Drogba’s red card. Some are saying John Terry spat on Tevez during the bust-up, something that certainly peaked my interest.
I was angered of course, so I went to the tape. Around the 1:02 mark, you can see JT wipe his mouth with his shirt while closing in on Tevez. Terry lunges forward with his mouth and Tevez reacts by wiping his neck. Now, being a man who has spit on another — not my proudest moment — I know something about the technique. If you’re going to do it, you want the victim to see what you’re doing. You do it face to face. Also, if Tevez was, in fact, spit on why didn’t he flip out? I mean, it was raining fairly hard. Maybe he was just wiping himself off. So, for me — and this is just speculation — Terry just decided to whisper some “sweet nothings” into Tevez’ ear. The video is below. What do you guys think?

Clear as day = this clip which shows jt snotting on him and just before Drogba’s head is obscured by the ref he sucks up spit and then you see Tevez wipe his neck. So they both did. CHELSEA SCUMBAGS. Somethings will NEVER change. Lack of class. Terry for England captain. Pish

you want to talk about chelsea players crying? they deserve to for coming that close to the title. no shame in that. ronaldo crying after cech blocked his penalty shot. they hadn’t even lost it yet. he thought he had lost the title before it was given away.

Watched the clip and the GIF file. Utterly inconclusive. Looks to me like he’s just choicing words at Tevez while wiping his mouth. If you’re sharp enough to see the ref’s whistle you should also be able to see snot/spittle and its just not there. Ya’ll are just seein’ what you want. Total crap and a pathetic excuse to carp and bash the loser. Unsporting behavior all of you, every bit as shameful as Drogs losing it.

For the dipshit who says Terry slipped after he missed… you’re a total wanker. Watch it in slow-mo and you can clearly see, he over-strode his left foot which then lands on teh wet surface, immediately slides towards the spot, making his right foot connect with the ball off the wrong part of his foot, hence it went wide.
Unfortunately stuff, but to sit there and bitch about it all is churlish at best, just frackin’ shameful all ’round.
