Good News: Ron Ron Off The List

ronaldinho-if-you-play-as-barca-you-have-an-advantage-20070601024844708-000.jpgChelsea chairman Bruce Buck told Sky Sports that he loathes Ronaldinho and the party man will, indeed, not arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer. OK, so he didn’t put it like that.  But, he did say the Brazilian is unlikely to join the Blues.

“Ronaldinho? No, I don’t see it being likely that Ronaldinho will be here next year,” Buck said.

In the same interview, Buck said re-signing Super Frank is still a priority.

“He’s a wonderful player and a superb guy and we’d like to see him for the long-term at Chelsea football club.”

Personally, I’m indifferent on this subject.  Some days I want him to stay, others I’d like him to haul off to Spain.  Either way, I don’t see it hurting us too much (like we won’t sign some massive talent to replace him).

The Dhino would be a great signing for anyone methinks. I’d love to see him in the Prem, even at Chelsea. Think what a great second striker he’d make with Drogba or Anelka? Alas if its not to be.

Totally the opposite opinion on this one Rob I’m afraid. I couldn’t stand having Ronnie at the Bridge, he’s a show pony most of the time, the rest of the time he’s hit and miss, that’s not what we need at Chelsea, a consistent player is definitely more valuable than a greater talented player who shows up fifty per cent of the time.
With regards to Lampard, he has been great servant of ours since hi move from West Ham but perhaps now is the time to move on. I’d love him to stay but the stalling of his contract renegotiation is causing instability at the club and he has not shown any real signs that he will put his name to the paper.
