Newcastle v Chelsea

By: Andy | April 21st, 2007

The look on the faces of ManUre fans from the moment Middlesbrough equalised to the final whistle (anguish, despair, upset) was PRICELESS, ABSOLUTE PRICELESS. A nine point lead is now down to four and Chelsea have a game in hand.

I am cool, I am calm, I am collected. Untill we get those three points at Newcastle Utd I won’t be jumping about, although it is really difficult at this moment not to LOL LOL LOL!!

Chelsea appear not to have any fresh injurires after that resounding result at West Ham, whereas Newcastle are without Damien Duff, Shay Given and Michael Owen, who was hoping to start his comeback against us.

Well it looks to be yours now - we’ve royally screwed it up…
could have been worse though - good job the ref was completely blind about the penalty! There’s no way you won’t beat Newcastle…

As a chelsea supporter I am trying to keep a lid on it and not jinx things tommorow. Before noon this morning I would have said there was no way ManUre would draw with ‘Boro either. I wont count our titles till they hatch.

One thing is for certain. The destiny of the title is in our hands and not ManUre’s.

Chelsea was lucky to come away with one point - Dyer and Carroll had the best chances of the match. Counted your eggs a bit too early?

The Toon is a solid team, albeit inconsistent this year because of a revolving door of injuries forcing Glen to consistently shuffle the line-up. We have nonetheless been very good at SJP, and I’m glad the boys were able to show as much with the rest of the world watching.

    Howay the lads!!!
