This Just In: Pizarro Struggling
By: Jack | February 29th, 2008
Thanks to investigative reporter Noberto Solano, we now know what has been plaguing Chelsea striker Claudio Pizarro.
“Chelsea is always a tough game and I’m looking forward to it but Claudio’s situation is not the best and he is finding it difficult,” the West Ham midfielder said this week. “He is finding life very hard but we haven’t spoken about it too much.
“It’s a tricky situation especially when you’re not scoring goals and when you play as a striker. Football is a big challenge and if he gets the chances he needs to take them.”
So it’s the whole not scoring goals thing that’s causing the problems. I would never have thought of that. This guy is good.

Chelsea are banning anyone with a Greek name from the Olympiakos clash. Though I’m not Greek here’s what I think of your club’s decision:
This is what happens when international mafia syndicates run football clubs.
Chelsea should be blushing so deep their uniforms should turn red.
The English government should be ashamed for not enforcing some anti-discrimination policy for preventing this insitutionalized racism.
It’s a pusing blemish on the EPL — a LEAGUE MADE UP 62 PERCENT BY FOREIGN PLAYERS!
I doubt it will be, but I hope this is a lesson to all the little Blues fans around the world — they’ll let you buy their jerseys but YOU are not welcome, unless your skin is the right color and your last name suitable.
And the capper? This comes from a club whose coach had racial death threats levied against him!
Unreal.
I hope the Greek side beats the ever-luvin’ s.h*.^i. t. out of the Blues.

I am a die hard chelsea fan, and I’ll agree it’s unacceptable to impose restrictions on attendance based on ethnicity. no doubt about it. but other than that, mctalian, you’ve obviously shown that you’re not a chelsea fan and aren’t really giving evidence other than the fact that you don’t like them to help your argument.
1. roman abramovich is not part of an international mafia syndicate. that is DEFINITELY a comment made by an ignorant american, who does not know the political situation of russia. so here it is, in short. when the soviet union collapsed in favor of democracy and privatization, those who were in control of the means of production (factories, mills, companies that produce goods) immediately gained the upper hand in the economy. abramovich was one of the people who owned a company such as this, known as sibneft - it is an oil company. as you can imagine, in today’s day and age, everyone is all about oil. hell, the united states STARTED A WAR for oil. he’s not rich because he’s a mobster, he’s rich because he’s a business genius.
2. chelsea fc is definitely not a racist club. the whole comment about “they’ll let you buy jerseys but you’re not welcome” is stupid. chelsea’s fans mark one of the most diverse community bases in the world. maybe because they’re a world brand. either way, it doesn’t matter.
3. “you ain’t got no history!” please. chelsea was founded in 1905. I’m not good at math or anything, but I’m pretty sure that’s around 103 years of history - never once spent out of the top flight of english football.

It is a total joke, I can kind of see why order would be cancelled in the home end for non-members - in case of trouble - this is not a racially motivated decision. For the Leicester Carling Cup game earlier on in the season, any non-members who had a LE post code were not allowed to purchase tickets, due to the history between the two clubs and when we were drawn against QPR in the FA Cup we wouldn’t even sell tickets to non-members. So before you come out with such nonsense Mctalian get your facts right.
As a side issue, we have spent a few season’s out of the top-flight over the years but not for too long thankfully!Alouette
