FA Cup Preview: Bramblin’ On
By: Jack | January 26th, 2008Chelsea’s march on four fronts continues today at Wigan in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Unbeaten in domestic cup competition since April 2006 — a run of 19 matches — the Blues enter the contest riding a seven-game winning streak. Joey Boy Cole will make his 200th appearance for the club if selected. Lamps, JT & Sheva are all still out with injury. Ballack appears to be gimpy as well.

Former Blue Mario Melchiot should be in Wigan boss Steve Bruce’s side. Melchiot has praised current Chelsea manager Avram Grant for his work following the departure of The Special One. Let’s hope the nimble Titus Bramble shows his self as well. (This blog needed some Morris Day.)

4,000 Chelsea fans (including me) turned up at the JJB yesterday and witnessed Anelka’s first goal. Not a great game the piss poor pitch made sure of that. Celsea were better and more organised in the 2nd half than they were in the first.
