not the best defender in the world by a long stretch, but arguably on of the best defensive wingers. his runs forward make him the player he is, and he has a good tactical sense. but one on one against the best forwards in the world…he rarely wins those battles!

Henry, no way Lahm is better than Cole. Never.
Hippy, um, I didn’t say he was the best defender, I said best fullback. And, best forwards? Did you see him shut down Messi for 90 minutes? What about his fine displays against Ronaldo over the past couple of seasons?

My name is Harry, not Henry. If it was a joke, sorry, but I dislike Barcelona and him, and I didn’t want to offend anybody just to express my opinion. “No hard feelings between the players”, you know.
Anyway, it’s my English, but what does fullback mean? Defender who takes part in attacking movements as well? Thx4help.

No offense taken. I’m just expressing my opinion. Fullback means the defenders on the flanks. Ashley is a left fullback, while John Terry is a centerback.
