there are better buys but I wouldn't OPPOSE it straight out. but if we do end up picking up michael owen, we'd better buy an insurance policy. the man is made of glass.

mouzinho is the boy really that good? If so get scolari on the phone. I watched several standard de liege's games and mbokani is one to watch.he is a powerhouse, strength, pace drive.michael essien except in attack.23 years from congo.what chelsea.need is an all out arrogant dribbler. A robben, ronaldo, robinho type.i watch robinho every week and my, have we missed out on a gem.once got a yellow for doing too many step overs! He is the elite driving force behind an average team(man city) winning all their games one man.its a shame bcos he tries.my how he wouldve flourishd under LFS.. .he watches hw city struggle against lower teams and must regret his decision. Diego from werder bremen recently admitted a trip to da Epl would be a nice proposal if the right offer is made. We should pounce on dat offer.who better than his own brazil compatriot phil. As for michael owen a waste.at 28 we might as wel buy a 20year old.i know scolari wants to get british players but the only worth while players are more than 10mil. Get brazilians/south americans . .cheaper and clinical..

El Kun is way over our spending abilities if all we have is a meager 10 million. Plus once Anelka gets on a streak, he is bound to perform, like in Bolton last year.

If we have Kun, we will win everything.

That said, the squad is flourishing in the goals department lately anyway (when Anelka is not behaving like a total c*nt), although I highly doubt another hat-trick from le Sulk is to come until 2016.

Fingers crossed for a proper January signing.

I'd like to see Pandev, Huntelaar, or Benzema as Blues, but I am guessing they are stamped with price tags more lucrative then our budget. How about Bordeaux's Henri Saivet? He is only 18 and he is dubbed as the next Henry.
Here's a compilation of his. Plus I bet he wouldn't cost more than 10 million pounds.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31NxJ1GJYzg&feature=related

Now tell me we do not need a play of that speed! And with some mentoring by Malouda as a winger and fellow frenchman, or Drogba as a striker, also a french speaker, along with Scolari's insight, this wonder kid will be a star in no time. I say we get him now before other big clubs join the race.

I did some thinking this morning though, and I actually do not think we need a striker. We do not need anybody. We have the league's top scorer he is fine playing as a lone striker, Drogba will be back soon, and Di Santo is a quality youth player, plus Jack, you said that Chelsea are struggling upfront, but I am going to have to disagree. We have the most goals scored (27 scored and 4 conceded in 11 games). The squad is perfect, playing some attractive football. What else do we need?

I don't think Micheal owen is the answer to our problems. He is very injury prone and we have enogh of those. I think we need a winger that can beat his man.
I say we go for schwinstiger. Or a Young player.

Why in the world would Chelsea want to buy a player like Owen. He is perhaps the most injury prone player there is. We should scout younger talents. Good eye on Obasi, Jack. I was impressed by his footwork. Ultimately, 10 million pounds is enough to get a beneficial capture, so lets hope that Cheslea can get a date with a potential wonder kid.
