By the looks of things Modric does not appear to be lethal in the air and to have someone to constantly whip in quality balls from corners for the likes of Ballack, Drogba and Anelka to get on the end of would be very exciting at the Bridge. Not sure where he would fit in however, it would surely mean that Joey Cole or SWP would have to be dropped from the squad but it would leave the door open for Malouda to exit the Bridge, the guy might have got last years French footballer award but he has not hit form for us as of yet. As a side issue, we may have enough set-piece takers already but Modric seems to have a brilliant eye for goal from these too and with all of our troubles at winning penalty shoot outs, the kid's got those in his locker too, get the ten mil out Roman!
