Iam German and watched Gomez all season. He does NOT have good ball skills. 85% of the (many, I have to admit) goals he scored were free runs at goal; he never had to really dribble to juggle the ball. He just doesn’t have the skill. He would fail in England since defenders are so much better organized and tougher than in Germany. Please, Big Phil, forget about him … Euro 08 wasn’t a coincidence.
