When you people get off the “Lampard only scores deflected goals” and “Ashley Cole hasn’t been the same since Arsenal” garbage? Lamps is one of the mids in the world and Cole just had what is quite possibly his best season. Of course, maybe the sports section of a mobile phone company can’t be bothered to know that.

don’t forget sky owns 50% of chelsea digital media, and virgin media is a direct competitor of sky. no chelsea tv on sky and no access to the players. virgin is just bitter they can’t get their piece of the pie.

Isn’t the root of all those reasons still just Abramovic and his money? The same reason no one (Noel and Liam aside) likes what Man City is doing and we all balk at how ridiculous Real MAdrid’s off-season has been? If he hadn’t come along, the fans wouldn’t have come back, no celebrities would like them, no flags would be waving, they wouldn’t have high-profile mangers to go through, Terry/Cole/Lampard/Drogba would be plying their trade elsewhere and Peter Kenyon wouldn’t have signed on the dotted line….

if you hate frank lampard, you hate football. the man is a class act on and off the pitch. any real football supporter can admit that, regardless of who they follow. i dont expect the chelsea hating to ever stop but it never really comes from anyone with any idea of the game anyway so just let them be jealous. chelsea for life!

hmm.. steven it sounds as if you’re getting frustrated by your teams lack of trophies in recent years. and now alonso wants to leave because he is wasting his prime at a club which hasnt won the league in 20 years, however the fat man wont let bail on a sinking ship.. but maybe our rejected full back can help to finally bring the scum some glory.. you’re an idiot mate. enjoy another joyless season.
