Petr is a monster, that was old shool Frank, Torres, dissapoints yet again

Im starting to give up on Torres. I mean an awful season last season. We have easy 1st 4 games this season and he doesnt even score in one. He then gets my hopes up by scoring against Man U and Swansea but he gets a red card in 1 and in another he misses an absolute sitter. In the last min today Ash chips it back post and Torres skies it from 4 yards on the volley. FFS Sturridge was nothing special down the middle but looked good on the left but we need to sign up a Cavani or someone like that. Torres moans about service but when he does get it he messes up. Jeez.

Well a decent game. Torres' finishing is worrying me. As much as I want to believe he can do well (as he has displayed on rare occasion) for Chelsea, the amount of opportunities that are going to waste is ridiculous. That last one definitely should have found the back of the net or at the VERY least been on target. Sturridge and Cole played that perfectly.

This is absurd. We are holding on in the purest since of the phrase.

We desperately need a second goal here.

I'm glad to admit I was wrong Frank is finished. I wouldn't say he's still at the level we're used to seeing of Frank, but he certainly can still be the engine of this team, and does everything he can. Plus, for those who noticed, the man celebrates by kissing the crest. He bleeds Blue.

Torres replaces Malouda to start the half. Tough on Flo, who I thought was not bad at all, but we definitely needed to make an adjustment.

If we do not win this one, the season will be over for us  ....

Slow down with the doom and gloom. It was always going to be a difficult season when you're attempting to change the entire culture of the club. Early performances kind of masked the problems to be honest.

We'll be fine. We always are.

The question is, will Roman allow the culture of the club to change or will he get impatient and fire AVB?

He had to know what he was getting into when he made the appointment. I think it's clear they discussed how they wanted to move the club forward.

So Roman surely must stick with him regardless of what happens, save for plodding about in the bottom half all year. Surely? Surely? Haha.

started pretty brightly, Malouda shockingly leading the creative side. all a little toothless, though. could use Torres in there in the 2nd half.
and Petr fucking Cech. Broken nose, who cares. what a beast.
i agree with the high line comments. just not good. 15 goals, ffs. let 'em play like they're used to and we'll be tighter than Jose's asshole.

I hate the high line.. it's so not chelsea.. we've always had one of the most solid defenses in the past, why mess with it..

If we ever did face a team like barca, they'd rip this high line apart all day long..

As much as I like AVB putting his mark on Chelsea I do have to agree that we had a good thing going with our defense before. I don't think the high line is the main cause of our recent slump (as much as individual performances), however I find it worrying that we haven't had a single clean sheet and have already conceded a handful of goals. 

Now there was our high line being exposed.

More worrying, Cech and Ashley clashed heads during the move. Cech is now receiving treatment. Damn.

Yeah he's bleeding a lot.
