Rant Box: Chelsea v Atletico Madrid
By: Jack | November 2nd, 2009New Atletico manager Quique Flores remembers the Blue machine — well, Michael Essien — all too well. Furthermore, a win will take us through to the group stages. Oh, and Didier Drogba is back to terrorize Europe.
I’ll have that.

This man may be the fulcrum in 09-10. More on that later…

This has been a bore. A draw is good enough, though.

Why oh why did A. Cole have to give that free kick away?

Ashley Cole was the reason for both goals today. Well done Drogba though.

the freakin wall was like a foot away from drogba on that last freekick before the shot.. what the hell! The hat-trick was gonna happen, freakin refs need to enforce charging the shooter before he touches the ball…

I think that both Ashley and Alex had a bad game today. Super Drogba is simply amazing :> well, a draw and we’re through. Great match for Atletico, have to say that if they won, it’d be fully deserved.

er never mind, for some reason i didn’t notice 2 players touch the ball before drogba on the free kick…

I was annoyed but then looked at the ladder and realised there is nothing to get upset about. Hopefully karma can pay us back in the knock-out rounds.
