I agree somewhat. Then again, we looked terrible against West Ham and their subpar as well so there was some improvement.

Indeed Jack, but once again chances were only created against a lower table club in this case a club really low on the table. If only we can show the same skills with the clubs in the top half of the table we should be on top come summer.

Hello Chelsea boys,
I am a diehard Chelsea fanatic from Egypt and have been ever since the 80s. I am new to blogging and decided to start here. I want to emphasize my concerns regarding the 4-1-4-1 formation that has been lacking in producing goals. A winning team needs at least two strikers to provide that lethaltouch in front of the goal, see Manchester United (Rooney, Tevez, Berbatov) see Liverpool (Kuyt and Torres) even see Villa (Agbonglahor, Carew, Young). Yes, Anelka might be on form but I would prefer to see him play along side our Ivorian bulldozer, see goal versus West Ham. Moreover, Scolari’s insistence on starting his favorite lad on the squad, obviously Deco, has paralyzed his options especially when he has such a wide variety of footballers in the Midfield (Mikel, Lampard, Deco, Ballack, Essien once fit, Kalou, Malouda, J. Cole, Beletti, Miroslav Stoch, Frank Nouble, Gael Kakuta), It is unbelievable how Scolari has the midfieldof the highest caliber worldwide. I have been dissapointed with John Terry, and hope he has a strong come back. Ultimately, Chelseais up one nil at the moment, so enjoy our first win at the Bridge since I don’teven remember.

deco should be benched until he gets his act together considering he’s inexperienced to epl and fatigued at 31.play 4-4-2 put malouda/kalou at least more energetic with lamps and mikel joe. Plain and simple a realistic and achievable target in jan. Is ARSHAVIN. Plays wing,centre or attack.impressive skill and at least f*****g crosses! Russian . . big brownie points 4rm da boss. .he wouldnt be angry spending the cash. Sell ferriera(why do we still have or need him) and alex replace them with academy players and get attackin mid and strikers
