Rant Box: Chelsea v. Wolverhampton

Chelsea still does not know how to play fast break/counter attack. This concerns me. 

Drogba continually starting, and staying in the game, while not being particularly sharp over Torres definitely bothersome. Torres clearly wants to prove himself when on the pitch so let him. Maybe Boas is giving Drogba playing time to convince him to sign that contract they've been working on? Who knows, but it's sort of strange.

Apologies for not being able to carry on a consistent conversation with you guys. I was busy freelancing the United-Newcastle game. By the way, I'm not looking forward to facing Krul next week.

The commentator on FSC just said CRISIS, WHAT CRISIS? but I won't rush to say that.

When Torres came in, I felt some sort of slfishness in all players. Sturridge had no desire to pass Torres. Torres himslef tries to smash the ball as hard as he could, anytime he recieved the ball.
This is something AVB should control. I did not like it at all.
I wonder if Terry will be fined but it was too obvious it is intentional. He could do better than that to make the referee show him a yellow card.

I noticed the same thing, did kind of bother me. It's good that Torres is so eager to prove himself and try hard (and why he should be in over Drogba right now IMO), but Sturridge was doing the same thing and trying to take it in himself, they clearly wanted the goals.

Studge tends to be kind of greedy on the ball, not just with torres. i would of liked him coming in a little earlier

i feel like the reason torres has to go for it himself is because the moment he's on, its almost like he's invisible to most of the team. he just wants a damn goal and some service

Its amusing when people try to keep up with Ramires.

Torres can play Carling Cup on Tuesday, give him a run for 20 minutes. Drog is a bit too slow for counter attack on the second half. Romeu is great. AVB should also experiment letting Luiz to play RB. 

Wolves gave us an easy first half and that is what we needed to get back our lost confidence.
I also beleive there is something wrong between Torres and AVB. Drogba who is 33 and is not reluctent to extend his contract, is playing and Torres who seems to be Chelsea future striker is sitting on bench and this won't help him to get back his confidence. But as far as we are winning, I do not mind.
I do not rush to say our bad form is over because Wolves seem to be very weak.

Maybe AVB is resting Torres for Liverpool. If Torres did not play against Liverpool on Tuesday, that would mean Torres has problem with AVB.

If Torres doesn´t play in the second half then i would think that there is a problem between him and the boss

It'll be interesting to watch.

I thought, as said in the preview, that they would allow us time on the ball. Had to take advantage, and it looks like we have.

wolves just letting us play. if they bothered to just push hard and all-in, we might have a lil more trouble. however, we are having a rather good day.

seriously, how many center backs do you know that can spot out and hit diagonals with as much ease as david luiz does?
