Nando is reviving his greatness, Bosingwa back to 70% of his game, Cole and Mikel effective, Terry and Cech and Alex solidly inpenetratable. What we are missing:

    1) Pace and Finesse down on two flanks, see what Ashley Young did for MU.
    We truely miss Sturidge today; Kalou should go, Mouluda is only 50%;

    2) a Playmaker, Neymar or Modric who can drive the ball into the defense and
tear apart the line and then make the perfect pass. Nando is actually doing that.

Kalou needs to go, esp with Lukaku arriving. I've pretty much decided now..

  • No argument here.

motm was torres imo. given that it was the first game of the season, a draw away is acceptable.

  • MotM poll coming right up.

  • Ryan

Did anyone else think cole had a bad game, not many of those from him. boswinga might be the worst passer i have ever seen, and anelka looked decent from my view, better than decent, curious to see what happens with le sulk with danny here as well.

  • Mateo

i also agree on Boswinga, might be his best game ive seem so far from him

  • Cole was indifferent, which is poor for him. I actually thought Bosingwa had a good game to be honest, much better than what we're accustomed to.

    gheyz.

Jack, if you rate Lampard higher than 1/10, I will honestly Have to reconsider my reading of this blog. Old, slow, behind the play, nonexistent on defense, and often in the way.

  • Ha. Not that bad, but poor nonetheless - no question.

    Ref should study football.  KTBFFH

  • Raynovo88

    We needed danny today

  • Let's fucking have this.

  • Here were go. Drogba on for Kalou.

  • Josh

Torres has done much better today than he did all Oh last season.

  • We have certainly upped the quality in the second half. Must get Kalou out of the mix, though.

  • Mateo

Alex has saved our asses about 3 times!

  • ph0bolus

Is that Pleat as color commentator?  Whoever he is he still thinks Sorenson is in goal...Haha

  • Denied two penalties in the space of a minute. Unbelievable.

  • Mateo

seen more form torres in these past 45 mins. than than i saw last season!
malouda and kalou are just watching the game...
    great game by Ramires

  • Raynovo88

Avb has his hands full with these wingers!!!

  • Will

    torres looks hungry

  • Josh

This is what bothers me about Chelsea... 40 minutes in and we haven't found a way through Stoke.

  • What we must take into account, however, is that Stoke have played really well. This was never going to be easy, not at all.

  • Kalou. Just bad.

  • Will

    free transfer... anyone?

  • We've been pretty sharp. Problem is, Stoke have been, too.

  • Torres is up for this it seems. Excellent.

  • I believe the time is right: Up the Chels.

  • TORRES.
