So Chelsea and Tottenham meet again for the third time in as many weeks in tomorrow’s Saturday lunchtime kick off. Barely having time to recover from their exertions in Seville on Thursday night Tottenham have to lace up their boots again some 39 hours after they untied them.

Old Red Nose at ManUre has moaned that Chelsea ‘refused’ to delay the fixture until Sunday, to give Spurs more time to recover and insisted the Premier League should have stepped to enforce the change. But I haven’t heard any complaints from Tottenham, have you? They will come to Stamford Bridge and get on with it like we all will!!

Michael Essien and Arjen Robben are still out injured so expect the same squad that was selected for Valencia in midweek. Lassana Diarra and Ashley Cole could be rested with Tuesday in mind. Paulo Ferreira and Wayne Bridge could make starts at right-back and left-back respectively.

Although it is nearing the end of the week, for Chelsea it is the start of a MASSIVE week and as Jose pointed out we could still be in the hunt for the Premiership title, in the Champions League Semi-Final and in the Final of the FA Cup come a week on Sunday.
