Sure, we didn’t win the Premiership. But Sheva gave us a little something to cheer.
Thanks for the professionalism & commitment Andriy. Good luck in whatever awaits you next.
(Hopefully that’s a brace in the CL Final)

Setanta sports brought up the fact that you wore next year’s kit, and that perhaps some players might be superstitious about such things.

I thought it was a valid question. Wearing next season’s kit on the deciding day was a bit unexpected.

I can’t imagine Sir Alex would have approved it.

If Drogba bolts, keeping Sheva around wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world, would it?

I was thinking the same thing actually. I think Sheva wants to stay and prove himself in London, and if Drogba runs away, maybe there’s a chance he’ll stay?

sheva was the best and is the best,
he has natural sense of proper positioning,
skils dont go away like that,
he suffer because chesea middlefield is sucks, aslo evrybody is greedy for goal,no sense of team

Sheva’s goal was fitting. Vindication, kinda. Though I wasn’t his biggest fan (I actually like Drogs the drama queen) I was overjoyed when he scored.

Too bad we didn’t fight right down to the whistle. That last slower exhalation did us in. Dammit.

I have been supporting Sheva all season, as I guess it is the American in me that loves a redemption story, and he’s ripe for one. He needs to stick around and figure this league out, he has the ability. He just needs to keep a place in the starting 11.
