Thank You Very Much Rob Styles!!

Pop Quiz everybody!! What do The Scaffold, The Cavern Club and Rob Styles have in common with each other? They all became famous in Liverpool!!!! Well in Rob Styles’ case ‘INFAMOUS.’

The Cavern Club was where The Beatles were discovered, The Scaffold had Paul McCartney’s brother Michael as a member (and had a top ten hit with a song called ‘Thank You Very Much’) and Rob Styles gave Chelsea a penalty (which wasn’t)!!!

Going back to The Scaffold’s top ten hit, ‘Thank You Very Much,’ Here’s my adaptation of the song in tribute to Rob Styles

ergh errm

‘Thank You Very Much oh Rob Styles, Rob Styles
Thank You Very Much, Thank You Very Very Very Much
Thank You Very Much for Giving us a Penalty,
Thank You Very Very Very Much!!!’

and so forth

Since the unfortunate award of the said penalty, Rob Styles was today suspended for one week for basically a cock-up. But…. before you Liverpool fans kick-off (which you like to do often) cast your minds back to about this time last year when Rob Styles awarded you a lot a penalty at Sheff United when Gerrard ‘won’ an Olympic Gold for Diving!!

Quit acting like you won. You were clearly outclassed and should be humbled by the fact that you escaped with a point thanks entirely to Mr. Styles ineptitude.

And please, anyone with Drogba on their squad can not complain about Gerrard “diving”. Ever.

’tis a shame you are unable to feel the irony of the post – perhaps you have had a sense of humour by-pass?

Flopping, thy name is Torres. Seriously the real refereeing tragedy was that there were no yellows for flopping.

And I love Chelsea, but Ben Haim sucks. Get well soon Ferriera and Carvalho.

all the back and forth about diving is just ridiculous. you cannot blame a player, any player, for trying to draw a penalty or foul if there is never any recourse (or hardly ever) for doing so. it doesn’t make it right but it is what it is. fact is, if liverpool would’ve put another in the back of the net then there’d be no issue. go blues!

the fact of the matter is, chelsea pressurised the ref at every opportunity. fair enough, he was below par, but terry and lampard constantly surrounding him must have had an impact. in relation to the top comment, if your commenting on liverpool’s diving antics, chelsea would not win half their games without such fould play. liverpool are a fair side with a fair manager. chelsea…arent!
