Rant Box: Chelsea v Newcastle
By: Jack | November 21st, 2008
Hey, it’s that time again! You know, time to slug the Magpies.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAY.
OK, so Saturday’s match with Newcastle at Stamford Bridge has all the makings of a trap game. The Pies have yet to win away from home this season. They’ve never defeated the Blues at the Bridge in the Prem. Hell, the last time they tripped us up at home was 20 years ago.
So we’ll lose 2-1 right? Wrong.
The mighty Blues shall keep the goals sailing in. And the Duffer, well, he’ll be wishing he was still in blue.
Keep me posted on all your musings before, during and after the match right here. Sluts.

Can I just say that we needed to capitalize on one of those, literally, 25 opportunities.

@ASR…Who would the fifth be when you say big five?
I thought maybe Manchester City, but they scored
I thought maybe Tottenham, but they didn’t playPosted from

Mate, Villa are fifth. And they didn’t score. We’re first, we didn’t score. ManUre didn’t. Arsenal got humped. ‘Pool drew too. So there ya go. And none of the top ten won!

I watched the game and even tho Newcastle were lucky to take 1 point they looked to be the better team for most of the game.!!

right… i watched the game too… we had 33 shots (9 on target); newcastle had 2 shots (0 on target). Lampard and ashley cole had really good scoring chances; and ballack should of done better with his shot at the end as well. Can’t be lucky to take a point and also say ur the better team in the game…
