In all of the games that Grant has been in charge - I have not seen any of this 'beautiful, flowing, expansive football' that Mr A craves so much. We have tried it under Grant and it doesn't work... the players are too conditioned to play 'crab' football. In Jose's first season we won the title in style - no doubt about that - in his second season we won the title being efficient - in his third season as far as I am concerned we just got unlucky, with all the injuries etc etc etc!!! This season however I have already said and I said it once Jose left - IT WILL BE A MIRACLE if Chelsea win anything this season. So far one down three to go, but lets be honest we aint gonna win the title - so that makes two trophies to go for. I am hoping for a REAL positive response from EVERYBODY at Chelsea starting at West Ham on Saturday, followed by Olympiakos next Wednesday and then Barnsley on Saturday (the latter two games I am going too!!) Perhaps Grant should show the first team the video of the youth team winning their FA Youth cup-tie at Port Vale last night..... beautiful flowing football, perhaps Mr A should watch the Youth instead!!! The spark left and the guys just haven't been the same since. When I saw highlights and saw Grant standing in the background like a mere spectator while Clarke & Terry roused the eleven before extra time, my intuition was confirmed. Rich Boy, as Andy was fond of calling him, and his narcissism has ruined our club, at least in the Carling Cup Final.
