Official: Chelsea secure Meireles from Liverpool in mega-late coup

By: Jack | August 31st, 2011

It was about as late as they come, but, in the end, we’ve added some exquisite tattoo work to the first team. Nicely done, Chelsea.

Chelsea left it late – really fucking late. It hardly matters now, though, as they have pulled off quite a coup in my mind. The club have secured the services of Portugese midfielder Raul Meireles from Liverpool in a deal believed to be worth a bargain £12 million. The 28-year-old has signed a four-year contract at Stamford Bridge.

Official confirmation from both clubs: Chelsea and Liverpool

I spoke on Meireles just a few days ago when news really started to take off regarding an interest from Andre Villas-Boas. At the time I thought anything over £10m plus Yossi Benayoun was a stretch. So this, for me, represents a good, safe value signing. Meireles isn’t going to set the world alight – well he might, you never know – but what he will give us is a very competent, composed piece in midfield, one that is already well established in England. He’s extremely talented no doubt. I can see him splitting time with Frank Lampard to great effect.

Enough from me. What are your thoughts? Let us know people.

AVB has to be willing to play his bench. That's what Sir Alex does. He actually PLAYS the young guys. We have much fresher legs in midfield now, and lots of options. Bottom line, he can't keep starting Frank every game.  Same with Terry, too, to be honest.  Do like they do with Giggs, play them once a week and play the bench. We have a deep squad again.

Chelsea is a retirement home for former Reds!

I invite every one to read this article :
    http://www.fanhouse.co.uk/2011...

Pay attnetion to the following points:

Liverpool could rue that decision to let him go when, during a tight, tense goalless encounter later this season, they look to the bench and see only Jay Spearing smiling back at them.
Meireles's impact as a substitute in the two Premier League games he played for Liverpool this year was noticeable and Kenny Dalglish cannot really claim to be overwhelmed by players who can come on and help turn a game in a similar manner as Meireles did against Arsenal a fortnight ago.

Earlier in the day, Craig Bellamy returned to Anfield on a two-year deal but should a 28-year-old have been allowed to go and a 32-year-old with terrible knee history brought in instead - his medical took three hours to complete as Liverpool expressed concerns about his condition

  • Londonsfinest786

Whichever idiot wrote this article has forgotten that a certain Steven Gerrard will be returning to the side very soon to take his position in the centre of the park. So on the bench will be Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson as well as Spearing and Shelvy. We don't have European games. So these Central Midfielders are all we need for this season. You can have Meirless. He was unwanted by Dalglish. Make no mistake about that. If Dalglish wanted him he could have easily turned around and told your club where to go, as Tottenham did with your pursuit of Modric.
Also the idiot forgets that Bellamy and Meirless play in different positions. Bellamy plays as a forward - where are light in numbers having also sold Ngog - whilst Meirless plays in an area of the park where we are overloaded with talent.

  • Maysam

That is not the smartest article I have ever read but I see his point on Ballemy no matter what position he plays. signing an injury prone, 32 years old striker is a mistake.
You should agree with the writer that no other Liverpool midfielder can be a great sub as Merireles was.I do not care if Liverpool needs him or not, what I know is we really needed a midfielder.
I like Charlie Adam, I do not think he will sit on bench.

  • Londonsfinest786

Bellamy was regarded as one of the best Premiership players 2 years ago. Thats why Man City took him. He may have had his fair share of injuries BUT we got him for FREE and signed him on a two year contract. I don't think we have made any mistake. As I said before some idiot who knows nothing about our team wrote this article. He'll prove better value than your £50m striker.
Adam will be benched if we play two up front. Gerrard and Lucas will always be the preferred choice in central midfield.

  • Maysam

I would love Adam to sit on bench because he has deadly corner kicks ... it is fine to me. :))
: )) Make sure you get insurance for his knee otherwsie you need to pay more than 50 m on surgeries :))))))

    http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix...

  • Maysam

So many Liverpool fans here :)) It seems there is no blog for them, they are walking alone so they come to Chelsea blog :))

  • Maysam

Liverpool club was even scared to sell him because he is very popular among Liverpool fans; that is why they announced he handed trasnfer request 5 minutes before transfer window closes :))
But anyway, I do not care about Liverpool fans comments. That is what Chelsea is about we get ordinary people and convert them to SPECIAL ONES ....

  • Londonsfinest786

Which ordinary people have you converted to special ones? You actually take all the special ones at top prices and turn them into bums! eg Shevchenko & Torres. You my friend are guilty of talking so much shit on this page its untrue. Do you actually know anything about your team or even football?

  • Maysam

you tell me " You actually take all the special one", so we got another one called Meireles ? so what these liverpool fans talk about, they say he is not a special one :))
then you say "you get speical ones like torress", so Torres is a special one, so how come you say 50M is too much, I bleeive 50 M for a speical player is not that much ...
I think it is you that do not know what he/she talks about :))

  • Londonsfinest786

Who said Meireles was special? Not me. Meireles is an average player. He scored 4 goals in approx 44 games for us to date. He's skinny and actually jumps out of 50-50 challenges... he really is a light weight. The only thing going for him is his speed and stamina. He was the fittest player at our club. So whats special about this player? The only time he did anything this season was against Arsenal. He came off the subs bench and had a hand in both goals, mind you remember we are talking about a side who had 8 hammered past them the following week and who were down to 10 men before Meireles came on.
As for Torres he was not 'special' at the time you purchased him. You went on his past reputation. The truth is before his transfer his form had dipped at club level. Over the past two seasons actually - last season he was terrible for us!!!! He wasnt worth 50 million last year. A bit more thought and actually watching him last year your club should have known this. Think Roman must have been watching the past matches between the clubs when he went in for him.
Anyway did you hear that your club put an offer off £50m in for Gadaffi! They had never seen him play but had just heard everyone was after him.... LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Maysam

It seems to me you are an angry Liverpool fan ... Yossi left Chelsea, I say he was a great player, he has a lot to offer, I wish him the best with Arsenal. Robben left the club, we say what a fantastic player he was. I do not know what is wrong with Liverpool fans that they destroy thier player when they leave. you cliam they are all crap, so do you let me to conclude that Liverpool is full of crap..every single player leves you label him as crap
Meireles whom you claim is a shit, won fans' player of the year, so you guys love shitty players?...
... We need to add amidfielder ot squad and at that moment with that market, Meireles was a good cohice. To me,Toress signing was fantastic. clubs do gamble on players.
You come here and crticize Chelsea for their signings.... do not you think you better go to a Liverpool blog and write to Liverpool fans , how do you rate the following signings :
    1.Joe Cole
    2.Glen johnson (18 million)
    3.Alberto Aquilani (17 million)
    4.Robbie Keane (20 milliom)
    5. Ryan Babel (10 million)

  • Londonsfinest786

Am not an angry Liverpool fan at all. You're welcome to Meireles. Admittedly am disappointed that he has gone, as he was a good option to bring on from the bench. But thats about it. He was never going to be in our starting 11 and I doubt he will be starting too many games for you either.
If Yossi was a great player Chelsea would not have let him go so easy and also Liverpool would have taken him back in part exchange for Meireles, along with £8m cash. Sorry but I don't rate Yossi at all. An average player. Robben was a good player but I hated him for being a cheating shit. Always diving and faking injury - remember how he got Reina sent off??? - No we don't claim all players who leave us are crap. Alonso and Mascherano came and went and were and still are great players. Torres was shit at the time you bought him and the way he bad mouthed us after leaving made me hate him, along with millions of other LFC fans.
Meireles won the ESPN PFA Fans’ Player of the Year, an award voted for by Premier League supporters. He only had one decent month with us. I can't understand how he won this award. Lucas was our player of the year last year. Any Liverpool fan will tell you this.
Anyway as you say you needed a midfielder and you got one in Meireles. So good luck.
I don't really rate any of those 5 players. Cole was a waste of money. Glen Johnson isn't bad going forward but his defending isn't that impressive. Martin Kelly's better than him. Aquilani was ok, nothing great, but didn't want to play in the Premiership and was always seeking a move back to Italy. Robbie Keane was a waste too and was shifted out in the same season that we bought him. Ryan Babel had potential and was one of the hottest young talents around when we bought him. But for some reason he didn't develop, probably because Benitez played him as a winger whilst his own prefference was to play as a striker.
Anyway what are you trying to prove by listing these 5 players?

  • Maysam

Carroll is a great player , I really like him. he is young , talented and strong I hope he improves. Liverpool paid 35 million for him. you say 50 million was too much for Torres.
I ask you what major trophy Carroll has won in his career ?
    NOTHING.
Toress won (Wikipedia resourcE) the following ... 15 million is the difference between these two? How come you say 50 is too much for toress but 35 is not for Carrolll ....

  • Londonsfinest786

Carroll is not a great player. He is a good player at the moment, with the potential to become a great striker in the mould of Shearer. I personally think we may have cocked up by buying him. I hope I am proved wrong. However at the moment our team plays so much better without him in our starting 11.
Why are you trying to value players by the number of trophies they have won???? No one has won more than Ryan Giggs. Would you go and pay £50 million for him too??? I would pay £35m for a young player with huge potential than pay £50m for a player who has passed his peak.

  • Maysam

yes if Giggs was 26, I would pay 50 for him ..

  • those are pretty stupid awards to bring up

  • Maysam

    Stupid awards !
What is bigger than "UEFA European Championship" and "World Cup" in international level ?
Mention one award that a plyer who cost Liverpool 35 million has won.
It is amazing how anger completly closes the brain :))

Alright since we've gotten Benayoun, Torres, and now Miereles...Hows about we go for Suarez in January?

    Is this English?

  • ph0bolus

Alright since we've gotten Benayoun, Torres, and now Miereles...Hows about we go for Suarez in January?

  • not a bad idea considering you could really use a striker that can score goals

  • The fact that a gaggle of Liverpool boys have rolled up in The CO is a testament to the ability of Meireles. Simple as. I mean, really, can't you guys go talk about Bellamy or something? You're wasting your time here.

  • Maysam

I beleive Signing Meireles shows Boas plans to change 4-3-3 formation. 4-3-3 is not good for Chelsea anymore. I strongly beleive Chelsea should change it to 4-4-2 Diamond or 4-2-3-1 preferably.

  • Joshua Sutton

The Liverpool fans getting angry about this makes me excited... Sounds like we got ourselves a good player judging by their resentment towards the move..

  • MikeyF

2 years ago, would you rather of had Charlie Adam or Meireles? A year ago would you rather of had Adam or Meireles? Today, too, I'd rather have Meireles. He's faster and will link up well with our pacey forward line: Torres, Sturridge, Mata...

  • Redman

I would have Charlie Adam every day of the week! Brilliant at set pieces... as per Alex Ferguson, his corners alone are worth £10m. Brilliant passer off the ball and scores plenty of goals. His positional play is brilliant. Meireles will go box to box but doesn't offer much else. He'll get a few assists and score 5 or 6 goals during the season. I think you Blue fans will be very disappointed if you think he's your answer to winning trophies.

  • Maysam

    Exactly :)) Exactly :))

  • SpecialOne

Meireles is a great player. There isn't another player like him. Chelsea will now go on and do the Premier League and Champions League double this season.... And now all you deluded blue fans can wake up. The reality is that u have bought another dud, albeit a cheaper one!!!!!!

  • KTBFFH

if he's a dud why do you lfc fans care so much that we got him? ;)

  • Red4life

Meireles was absolute garbage under Hodgson. However he managed to turn it around after King Kenny took over. Hopefully he'll return to his old rubbish self in a blue shirt... Please carry on buying our unwanted junk at extortionate prices!!!!!!!!! lol... LFC laughing all the way to the bank! Thanks for your dirty, stolen roubles!!!!

  • KTBFFH

http://liverpool.theoffside.co... he's unwanted junk now, is he? :D

  • MikeyF

Good signing for the price and the need. A rotation of Mikel, Ramires, Josh, Lampard, Meireles and Romeu looks good to me. Meireles will offer more on the ball movement than Lampard in a central position, but I still think Josh is the answer! Very glad to hear AVB did not want him out on loan.

  • Chenlsea

That is really f**ing late. I left work at 6pm, thinking all the way during my trip home, what the f***? no reinforcement in midfield? 40 million deal turned down, no bid for Ribery, Snijder going to sleep?! what the hell. We did it. No creative playmaker, hopefully Mata will pick up this part, while we add more grinding depth to midfield.

  • Mateo

i dont know about this, taking in account Meireles style of play we would resemble Ramires role more than Lampard... and i dont think he can bench Ramires in any universe...so i guess this means Frank has secured his spot in the starting 11 until he is avout 58 years old...

  • Meireles is better than anything you have at that so called club and will keep Lamps out of the team. Just a shame another heads been turned by your plastic ambition.

  • Mateo

breathing through the wound are you?

  • I've had a chance to calm down. Well done in getting him. Good player you'll do well. As for us, we don't want anyone who doesn't want to be at LFC.

  • LFC

Losing Meireles to these blue scums is no big deal. He was only ever going to be a squad player for us. Lucas and Gerrard will be our future central midfield, with players like Adams, Henderson, Spearing and Shelvy as back ups to these two. We don't need Meireles. That's why we sold him to these Blue vermins. Have faith in King Kenny. Liverpool to finish above Blue filth in the Premiership!

  • Sdad

is liverpool's dream to finish above chelsea? piece of joke. dream bigger you scousers. why dont u dream of winning the team and get the bragging right back from manu rather than being happy bragging finishing above chelsea? funny people : )

  • Maysam

Do not get excited my friend :) Liverpool is not going to go that far by getting the stars of small clubs ....

  • PDubz18

It seems to work for Man Utd.

  • LFC

And neither is Chelsea by  panic buying overpriced unwanted players from their rivals!

  • Maysam

Looks who is talking about over priced :))))
    1.Joe Cole2.Glen johnson (18 million)3.Alberto Aquilani (17 million)4.Robbie Keane (20 milliom)5. Ryan Babel (10 million)

At least Manchester had some great players to add those small stars, what does Liverpool have?  :))

  • Londonsfinest786

    (1) Joe Cole was free signing (2) Glen Johnson is young and still developing and also Englands right back so can be seen as a bargain at £18m (3) Aqualani was actually seen as a bargain at £17m at the time we bought him. We got him for that 'low' fee because he came to us injured. The player never really got a chance to prove himself with us and was loaned out last year and shipped out again this year as we are congested with players in his position and he himself expressed a desire to play in his homeland. (4) Robbie Keane fell out with Benitez and was sold in the same season. Don't think you can call a player of his calibre as overpriced at £20m. (5) Ryan Babel as I already said was one of the most promising young talents in European football when we signed him and definitely not overpriced at around £12m I believe and not the £10m you quote.

I can't understand why you would point these signings out. No maager or club can ever say that all their signings have worked out and been a success. Alex Ferguson and Wenger too have bought their fair share of duds. The amount that your club has spent on useless players must be untrue. Asier del Horno - £8m (Athletic Bilbao)

  • Maysam

as I said, unfrotunatly passion sometimes block the brain ... I love your excuses .... seriosuly with all those excuses you cannoy justify our Toress signing :)))) He is one of the best striker in the world, :)) FIFA world cup winner, highly successfult at internaiton and club level :)))) you are amazing my friend :))))))

  • Londonsfinest786

Correction: He WAS one of the best. I think you are the amazing one! I have friends who are Chelsea fans, one who is a season ticket holder. He agrees with me Torres upto now has been useless for them. The stats - 1 goal in around 20 games says it all. But hey if your happy with that return and are willing to pay £50m in transfer fees and probably the same amount in wages over 5 years then who am I to complain... Am sure LFC aren't complaining and neither is Torres!

  • Londonsfinest786

Sorry was gonna write the long list out but decided to forget about it as I would probably be here until tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LFC4life

Liverpool has the best goalkeeper in the Premiership. Liverpool has a very young right back with the name of Martin Kelly, who will be Englands future. In midfield we have Gerrard - the best player in the history of the Premier League - Also Lucas, who after a shaky start to his LFC career is now blossoming into one of the best holding players around and is a regular for Brazil. And we have Suarez. Who the fuck do you cunts have?

  • Maysam

Well you claim Chelsea has no good player, we have won 3 EPL in last 6 years, how many time did you win EPL with your stars ? :))

  • Londonsfinest786

You have not 'won' any EPL's... They have been bought rather than won. Man City will now show you how its done properly - using a cheque book! Unfortunately upto now we haven't had the resources to compete and even now with our new owners as generous as they have been, we will still struggle to compete against the likes of City and yourselves.

  • Londonsfinest786

They have Drogba, Torres, Lumpard, Terry.... lol.... all past their sell by date! Their best player will be Mata. They don't have anyone other than that DESPITE the millions they have spunked up.

  • Seriously, good luck to you all. I'm sure Chelsea will be part of the top four, plainly due to their policy of just spending and spending. But to write off Liverpool when we are clearly playing great football and are looking as cohesive as ever is just wrong. I think you'll be surprised how closely we'll be breathing down your necks this year.

  • Maysam

I agree with that. There are many clubs that will fight until the last day for sure. That is the beauty of EPL ... I hope I see one day that all 20 have chance to win EPL, it just make it more exciting ...

  • Londonsfinest786

Yeah sure would but we need to find 17 more Arabs or Russians as stinking rich as yours and Citys for that to realistically happen!

  • Maysam

    You never know ...

  • Don't really agree. Meireles has good vision and can pick a pass. He likes to get forward. I think he'll be a good partner for Ramires.

  • Red4life

Meireles likes to get forward yeah AND leaves big holes in the middle of the park for opponents to exploit! With a defence that looks dodgy already, partnering Meireles with Ramires is only good if your manager is looking for an early XMas pressie - P45!

  • What an outstanding signing. A true steal at the death.

  • Notinmymanor

A true steal? Like the 50m u paid for Torres???????

  • Maysam

Honestly, Torres is worth 50m. These days clubs are paying 30 m for players who have won nothing in their career. Torres has won almost everything, well stablished in England. I do not know why you think 50m is too much, unless you are a liverpool fan and burned because he left the club....

  • Notinmymanor

Torres has scored 1 premier league goal in around 20 games that he has played for you. I dont know which planet you are from - trying to argue he's worth £50m. Even Andriy Shevchenko had a better strike rate than that at Chelsea!!!!!!! Torres has won nothing at club level and did nothing for Spain when they won the world cup. In fact lets be honest, Torres was nothing until he came to LFC. We made him! And the only reason he was a success at LFC was because he had Gerrard playing behind him. Now he has fat Lamps operating behind him and look at the results!!!!!!! You won't even find a club who'll take him for £10m in his current state!
Whose been sold for £30m without winning anything???? Andy Carroll is only 22 with bags of potential. Has the potential to be the next Shearer and was poached from his club at the last minute on transfer deadline day in January. That's why he cost 35m.... You paid £50m for a dead horse! LOL..........

  • Baldrick1984

"Torres has won nothing at club level "

of course not...he's been with you for 5 or so years!

  • LFC

Yeah thats right prick! Had he joined us 2 seasons or so before that he would have won the biggest prize in club football - The Champions League - Something which you Blue vermin have been dreaming of for years!

  • Baldrick1984

    bless...

  • Did this guy seriously just say Liverpool made Fernando Torres? My word.

  • Notinmymanor

Yes thats right Mr. Thats exactly what I said. Go check his scoring records at Atletico. Then have a look at his strike rate for Liverpool. Maybe then you'll agree with me too!

  • Yes, because the fact he was already a Spain international, was wanted by any number of elite clubs, and cost 25 or so million sterling was clearly not an indicator that the kid had already arrived.

  • PDubz18

Torres WAS worth 50m until March of 2010. He went under the knife for a knee operation and his lethal pace that center backs can't deal with went away. Now after he moved to Chelsea, you guys have tried to play him deeper as the main creative force.

Regardless of his international standing, he has never been the same after that surgery. Just look at how he played for Spain in the world cup. A good transfer team would have figured that out before they spent an exorbitant amount of money on a one-time good striker.

  • Notinmymanor

He cost us £20m. But so have players like Henderson and Downing, who also happen to be internationals. Torres came to us with no 'world class' tag attached to his name. He had in fact a very average scoring record at Atletico. We changed all that. We made him into a deadly goal scorer who broke all sorts of goal scoring records while he was with us. We made him into that £50 million pound striker that your club bought. We transformed him from an average striker to a world class striker.

  • Zainnoor2000

let me clearify one simple fact for you..Torres made Spain win Euro as far as i can remember he scored that day and ya he has been a flop tell now in chelsea..but you guys dont know yet wat he will do when mata and raul will start providing him with through balls..you guys will be amazed then

  • LFC

Yes he made them win the European Championships when he was firing goals in for fun at LFC. Those days are long gone. You can provide him with what you like. He ain't scoring! Full stop.

  • Superreds01

Apparently it's 15m for a liverpool reserve player. Still if he's a successful as Benyoun and Torres he'll be an absolute bargain!!

  • Guest

Torres has been Awful and Benayoun couldn't cut it at CFC. that is Sarcasm?

  • PDubz18

    Pahah you chelsea fans.

  • I'm stepping out for a few - that is unless something else crazy goes down. Great talking with you all today. KTBFFH

  • Notinmymanor

I would advise Meireles to keep his wife well away from Mr Terry... as I would advise all you Blue pricks to keep your girlfriends, daughters and wives away from this nympho skipper of urs who'll fuck anything that moves

  • Jtartarkin

least he's no scum like giggs who shares his brothers wife. piss off

  • Notinmymanor

At least his brothers wife was of legal age. Go research ur skippers history! You might find that he's a pedo. Go check for his name on the Sex Offenders Register!

  • fro

not gonna waste my time researching london sex offenders for bullshit rumors like some skeeze, which apparently you do with your spare time. pathetic you'd justify him sleeping with his brothers wife behind his back, fucking gross. pathetic he'd do it too, guy could bang any chick in GB but picks his brothers wife. seems normal

  • Notinmymanor

Am not trying to justify anything. I dont really care who Giggs sleeps with. If you must know Giggs was allegedly screwing her before she married his brother. His brother actually met her through Giggs. Unfortunately for him, she carried on sleeping with Giggs even after they married. Who cares anyway? I hope he's been screwing Fergies wife too!
As for ur skipper he is a real disgrace. A thug on and off the pitch. The stories about him are endless - young teenage fans, team mates wife etc etc.... And not forgetting his mothers a thief! Mind you, son like mother - was Terry not caught out taking money in return for organising guided tours around ur stadium???
The man is a total disgrace. I can see why he captains Chelsea FC - perfect man to captain such a disgraced institution. But why is he captaining England?

  • KTBFFH

how ridiculous. i noticed you haven't mentioned his behavior on the pitch. this is the man who played in the champions league final despite having a dislocated elbow. this is the man who discharged himself from the hospital on the same day he got knocked out by abou diaby so that he could celebrate his team's league cup win. this man is the most successful captain in chelsea's history. we're talking about football here, no? why don't you cut the crap on his personal life and focus on what he's done ON the pitch.

  • Liverpool is god

well he is also the man who missed the penalty in the semi's of champions league !!!

  • LFCRule

Behaviour on the pitch??? He's a thug on the pitch. Played in the champions league final despite a dislocated elbow??? Maybe he did, but in hindsight it might have been better had he not played as he was the prick who missed the all important penalty that would have won you the final! He probably did discharge himself from hospital to celebrate his teams cup win, as he was probably so desperate to get pissed up. Also he only happens to be your most successfull captain because prior to Roman arriving, you had won virtually nothing in your pathetic history. With the help of your owners millions you were able to buy a few trophies. So whats he done on the pitch? Hes just an average defender at the moment as far as I can see.

    Thanks for blogging, Jack!

Good signing IMO, a player in the mold of Lamps. He can also hit them bullets too. Exciting times ahead i tell ya!

Like the FIFA'11 saying goes, "it was late, but in the end it was great!"

  • Joshua Sutton

Just glad it's done. Very hopeful that time split is 90+/10-% Mereiles/Lampard.

Fuck off u blue shitheads - fucking vermins!!! We robbed you of £50m in Jan and took another £12-15 million from you pricks tonight. Fuck off and die. Hope ur shithead club rots - Motherfucking Pensioners!

the butthurt is strong with this one....

  • Londonsfinest786

butthurt???? Are u some sort of a faggot?

  • Watch out, Keith! This guy wants to hold your stones.

  • TeddCFC

Same reason why Mike Ashley shoved Andy Carroll up your asses for a cool 35mill! When the season ends we'll see who laughs last once again.

  • Londonsfinest786

Dickhead no one shoved Carroll up our asses!!! As for his fee, before we bought him on deadline day Tottenham had, only hours earlier, had an offer of £30m rejected by Ashley. So it was only gonna be a 'cool 35mill' that was gonna secure his signature!!!

  • You have to love this.

  • CharlieFineman

Initial thought - a very good signing, and a very good player - I'm sure even LFC offside will testify. As a squad player - a must!
