MotM Poll: Everton 1 – 2 Chelsea

Chelsea don’t like to do things the easy way. Our boys want to make your heart stop and leave you hanging on the edge of your seat until the very end.

Was anybody even able to watch this match, apart from those at Goodison? I’m currently watching the rerun on Chelsea TV.

From the sound of things, Oriol Romeu just gets better and better with each minute he gets on the pitch. Petr Cech made two spectacular saves with his first two touches in the match – one to save a penalty and the other to save the follow-up. Top man. Top keeper. And though the mounting red cards are frustrating, once again we witnessed the grit and determination that has been instilled in our team despite the odds being against us.

Maybe you haven’t seen the match (or you’re watching it now, like me), but you can probably still make a decision on your man of the match anyway. Have at it.

chelsea really nids more defenders and central midfielders. at least a good replacement for michael essien.

Josh had some perfect passing yesterday, he needs more minutes for sure. Danny came through in the clutch, which is always good to see from young forwards. Often times you see them sky the shot or muff it real bad when it's in the dying minutes.

I've never had much faith in Turnbull, but aside from his sending off, he made some decent saves, and I think we can blame Luiz for creating that scenario for the red card by failing to defend a routine ball. Luiz is starting to scare me. A lot.

I want Lukaku to get a goal, Romeu looks the business, Bertrand has some great crosses, Josh is glorious, and Danny can score. I like our youth. Hopefully we can keep this crop.

it's games like this that makes me convinced the future is going to be awesome. McEachran is such a joy to watch, as are Lukaku, Romeu and Bertrand. i really, really hope Josh gets more minutes this year, especially when all the competitions start to grind on us.

Oh, guys, it is FLO. Contributed vitally in two goals. Sometimes, we underestimate his contribution. He is an all-around player, defend well, pass well, he may have lost those
dribbling speed a bit, but he makes up for it with experience.

anyone find any highlights? can't seem to find them on the popular highlight sites...starting to piss me off haha
