Remembering Dr. King

By: Jack | January 19th, 2009

I trust everyone has taken a small amount of time out of their days to remember the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King. If you haven’t, please take a look at the following video, listen and act. Remember, football/soccer is only a small part of this thing called life. And, as we enter this new era — in both the United States and abroad — we all would do well to heed the words of Dr. King.

“Free at last, they took your life. They could not take your pride.”
-U2, Pride (In The Name of Love)

This guy was a legend, had a lot of balls, and footballers these days could take something from that. Sounds smooth with that music too man.
