Scott Parker? This is getting out of hand

Scott-Parker-006
Just no

You simply cannot beat the transfer window for laughs.

Michael Essien’s apparent season-ending knee injury – I say apparent because we know nothing for certain yet – has sent the tabloids into a frenzy. It’s to be expected, really. We’ve been linked with every midfielder in the known world, including Scott fucking Parker.

I say fucking because I can’t stand this man. Football Writers’ Player of the Year? Rubbish. Plus, you know, Scotty always seems to go out looking for a fight against us. As if our players had something to do with his egregious year and a half at the club. Drop the shameless vendetta guy.

Anyway. Sunday’s People says not only are we looking at Parker now, we considered him earlier in the summer, even before the injury to Essien. Sure.

Sky Bet has also seen odds halved on a Parker move to Chelsea. Whatever.

You know what, I hear Jiri Jarosik is looking for a part-time gig. Why not target him? Or Alexey Smertin. Better yet, Maniche. MAAAANICHE.

Laughable. Petition to keep Scott Parker away from Stamford Bridge. Who’s with me?

Sidenote: If Parker does indeed join Chelsea, feel free to blame me. I reacted this same way the first time we were linked with Yossi.

  • According to the law, personal injury refers to the physical injury or damage a person suffers due to someone else’s negligence. Negligence by law - is defined as the failure of a person to act with reasonable care and prudence required of him under certain circumstances. Any type of bodily injury as a result of an attack, or accident can also be categorized as the same, and a person can file a lawsuit to recover damages from whosoever is responsible for your injuries.

jack, you know NOTHING about football - literally you cannot have watched Scott Parker in a single game last year, or indeed in the ast 2 years. You're definately not a journalist as no on would pay you to write this garbage. Presumably you base your articles on the football knowledge you've obtained from youtube footage and occasionally watching chelsea highlights on match of the day.

Scott Parker probably won't sign for chelsea but this ridiculous assessment of him will only pander to other plastic, armchair Abramovich-era supporters such as yourself who think that the only good players in the world cost a fortune.

Also West Ham's team last year was shit but to those who say that's the only reason why Parker looked good, have you seen the last couple of England matches??? Best player on the pitch in most of the recent ones.

  • Scott Parker is the epitome of a "great stats on a bad team" player. Every shit club has one, so it may as well be him.

  • areallfootballsupporter

firstly i already addressed the point that you've made there - he's been great for england. Secondly 'great stats on a bad team' where are you quoting that from exactly, what is that? it doesnt even make sense

presumably you mean he's been good in a poor team...not a shit club. A shit club is one that produces plastic no-nothing 'fans' who've never been to a game in their lives and who've only supported the club since they've been good and yet feel qualified to write about football.

Also which 'stats' exactly did parker get the player of the year award for? his goals? his assists? please tell me because neither of these were remarkable. God forbid that he got the award for being fantastic all season regardless of 'stats'. Hmm perhaps the football writers were able to show some understanding of football beyond statistics...

  • arealfootballsupporter

    Yeah. Sure.

  • areallfootballsupporter

a well-argued point there in keeping with your article

  • Tinahaskman

Bring back the "music hall" joke! Yeah, the real CHELSEA.

  • Cr

We are Chelsea, we should be signing the likes of Messi, Fabregas or Rooney not bloody Scott Parker

I love Chelsea and soooooooo want us to win every week so I can big it up to my bros

  • Wergy

What a fool you are. Essien has bee naverage since back from injury and Parker is a much better player than Mikel. He'd do Chelsea proud....

  • Comparing Mikel to Parker is kind of like comparing Cech to Rooney. Yeah, it's fucking stupid; two completely different players with completely different roles. But, since you want to play, Mikel does his job miles better than Parker does his pseudo box-to-box, I'm a leader but not really, thing.

  • areallfootballsupporter

'Mikel does his job miles better than Parker'

    That's fucking stupid

  • I repeat: MILES.

  • areallfootballsupporter

also please tell me the 30 players who were better than Parker last season, thanks very much : )

  • Do you know how to read? I reckon not.

  • areallfootballsupporter

    well i'm convinced!

  • Ossy

Yeah lets sign him. He wasn't given a fair crack last time. C'mon you plastics

  • John

Parker > Mikel - end of story.

You Quote "Football Writers’ Player of the Year? Rubbish"... Why?... Tell me one chelsea player last season that would have deserved to have even come close to this achievement!?

  • Just posted this above, but, fuck it, it applies to you to.

"Comparing Mikel to Parker is kind of like comparing Cech to Rooney. Yeah, it's fucking stupid; two completely different players with completely different roles. But, since you want to play, Mikel does his job miles better than Parker does his pseudo box-to-box, I'm a leader but not really, thing."

As for player of the year, I reckon I could name about 30 Premier League players that deserved that award more than Parker. From Chelsea? Bane and Cech, no question.

  • areallfootballsupporter

30 players - i'd love to hear this list. Im guessing 1) Bale - for his 2 good games in Europe. 2) Rooney for his bicycle kick. 3) David Vaughan - you hadnt heard of any of blackpool's players last year but you liked their spirit and are putting him in ahead of Adam because that would be too conformist (see dislike for Parker).

  • Baines, Dempsey, Hughes, Odemwingie, Meireles, Barton, Enrique, Jarvis, Seb Larsson, amongst numerous others. Shit, that was in a minute off the top of the head and, hell, I purposely avoided names such as Vidic, Modric and Tevez just to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Feel free to cuff Parker's jock. We won't.

  • areallfootballsupporter

well that's 9, not 30 but good try... and i really don't know how you could possibly compare odemwingie to parker. It's like comparing Cech to Rooney, see what i did there.... Also Seb Larsson!? You rate his season better than Parker's. Parker loked good in a shit team, Larsson didn't even do that! Aaron Hughes too, presumably you'd have him at chelsea then.

i don't know what cuffing Parker's jock would consist of...id like to know.

also please respond to the allegation that you've never seen a football match live and that you've only supported chelsea for the last decade or so. Your analysis of the chelsea 3rd kit seems to confirm that you're either an American 'fan', a Far-Eastern 'fan' or 10 years-old.

  • "Shit, that was in a minute off the top of the head and, hell, I purposely avoided names such as Vidic, Modric and Tevez just to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside."

Man, you really can't read. Sad. Second, you've been perusing the blog? Just to read my stuff? Man, I'm flattered. Keep sending us those hits, bro. We love it.

  • areallfootballsupporter

Well i appreciate the way you've opted to resort to personal insults instead of responding to any of my criticisms of your work. And yes youre welcome to all the hits im providing you, im sure its bank-rolling your career in journalism...Your article totally got to me, and in at least this one respect, its good. It got some responses. This does not change the fact that you know nothing about football and that you shouldn't be so self-assured in your ignorant beliefs. You're such a plastic fan its unbelievable

  • colmmc

"an average player" maby if our boys in midfield showed as much commitment last year as he did we may have won something..

  • Chelsearscum

    wanker

  • Desailly

    HELL NO.
signing Parker wouldn't solve our injury problems, it would probably worsen it.
during training I can see him slide tackling Lampard from behind, scissor tackling Torres, and elbowing Ramires in the face.
    no thanks.

  • Sharinganfx

if he was free and he paid us instead, sure why not

  • CareFreeChronic

Interesting. I thought we already have two players in the defensive midfield role McEachran and Mikel (that is not counting David Luiz who can also play there). We also have Benaryon and Ramires for the right-sided midfield position. Getting Parker will be redundant. What we need is a creative midfielder who can clever through passes unlock the defense. Not Parker.

  • cfc fan

It'll be a wise decision to sign Parker.  Essien is walking on plastic bones, Mikel isn't the 'steel' man we expect him to be, McEachran is too good for that role and Parker is old enough to accept a bit part role when Essien returns

  • viano

modric coming chelsea seems inevitable now..
    http://www.espn.co.uk/football...

  • Santhosh

would love to see him back at the bridge...

  • Mamado91

    I concur Jack.

  • super to see once again Scott Parker to Chelsea.

  • super to see once again Scott Parker to Chelsea

  • Sing--in

super to see once again Scott Parker to Chelsea.

  • Theo

I heard from a source inside the Bridge that we're looking for Essien's replacement, but we're having a difficulty in negotiations. He is a Brazilian world class midfielder aged 35 , who was again Essien's replacement back at 2008 when Big Phil Scolari was in charge. Remember Mineiro?? for some reason we bought him from Hertha Berlin (free agent) but he couldn't even make the bench. Well 3 years later Mineiro is more experienced and ready for his second stint at Chelsea and if the rumors are true he'll sign early next week...

  • You sir should do stand up.

  • Chrisblues

bullshit fuck off Chelsea have turn to division 2 team with such player

  • No fucken way! I've seen more talent in a can of beans!

  • Danny

    LoL

  • Nymphetaminez

NO CHANCE.. The only reason he looked good was because the players surrounding him at West ham were awful. An average player in an awful team. Hopefully these rumours are squandered soon.

  • two words. FUCK NO.
