I think I’ve finally come back down to earth after last night’s wonder match. However, the talk isn’t about to conclude.

For those of you who missed this beauty, check out Phil Thompson and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink trading barbs live on Sky during the match. Still shocked JFH didn’t sock the obnoxious Thommo.

This is also a great excuse to bring out the archived footage of Thompson’s reaction to Riise’s own goal last season. Brilliant.
